Tom and Jerry Comic
Here’s a comic that my friend Harry and I wrote and drew a few years back when Warner Bros Comics asked us to make a version of T&J more like Itchy and Scratchy. We wrote it together, I penciled it and he inked it. It was fun!
I have a color version somewhere around here with words but I can’t find it at the moment. I’ll post it when I do find it.

Thanks man! I agree they ’should’ be animating stuff this way! Ah well… Actually WB did do some Tom and Jerry movies last year which were written and directed by Bill Kopp and they were pretty cool.
It’s funny that WB wanted us to draw it like Itchy and Scratchy, since at the time we were writing and drawing the Itchy and Scratchy series for Bongo Comics. But then *poof* even Bongo decided that I&S were too violent, and canceled that series, so the WB effort to ratchet up the violence in T&J went bye-bye too.
By the way, I’ve got the color comic too! I could dig it out and scan it, if you want.
Yes! Definitely scan it! I know I have it somewhere as well but for the life of me I could not find it!
